الجمعية الليبية لعلوم وقاية النبات

هي عبارة عن تجمع علمي ثقافي من المتخصصين والمهتمين بعلوم وقاية النبات وتطبيقاتها، من الليبيين والمقيمين والمتعاونين، وهذا التجمع لا يهدف للربح المادي بقدر ما يسعى لتحقيق أهدافه الموثقة في نظام الجمعية الأساسي والمعتمد من الهيئة الوطنية للبحث العلمي. تهدف الجمعية إلى توفير نقطة التقاء للباحثين والخبراء والمختصين في مجال وقاية النبات في ليبيا، بهدف تنظيم العمل العلمي وخلق مناخ مناسب للتألق والإبداع ورفع كفاءة الخدمات المقدمة من أقسام وقاية النبات في قطاع الإنتاج الزراعي بما يكفل تحقيق الأمن الغذائي والاعتماد على النفس وذلك عن طريق تنفيذ المهام التالية: -

• 1) تنظيم الندوات والمؤتمرات المتخصصة في فروع علم وقاية النبات وجذب الخبراء والمختصين الدوليين للمشاركة فيها بما يهدف إلى نقل وتوطين التقنية الحديثة في مجالات الاختصاص.


• 2) عقد البرامج والدورات التدريبية في مجال وقاية النبات وحفظ المنتجات الزراعية بشكل دوري وعند الطلب وذلك باستخدام الخبراء المحليين أو باستخدام خبراء عالميين في حالة عدم توفر البديل المحلي.


• 3) إصدار مجلة علمية محكمة باسم الجمعية, تصدر باللغة العربية أو الإنجليزية بما يكفل إيصال الإنتاج العلمي للباحثين الليبيين إلى الجهات القادرة على الاستفادة منه في الداخل والخارج, كما يمكن أن تقبل المجلة بحوث واردة إليها من الخارج خاصةً من الباحثين المعروفين في مجال وقاية النبات .


• 4) التعاون مع المؤسسات الرسمية والأهلية المعنية بقضايا الإنتاج الزراعي من اجل تنظيم الحملات الإرشادية بهدف توعية المزارعين والمسئولين عن التسويق بالجوانب الاقتصادية والصحية المرتبطة بالوسائل المستخدمة في مجال وقاية النباتات خاصة المبيدات الكيمائية.


• 5) إصدار النشرات العلمية الإرشادية في مجالات وقاية النبات وترجمة النشرات العالمية وذلك لتيسير المعلومة لمن يطلبها من مؤسسات وأفراد.


• 6) القيام مباشرةً أو عن طريق التعاون مع جهات أخرى بإجراء المسوحات والدراسات الميدانية وتجميع البيانات اللازمة حول الآفات المنتشرة في ليبيا وما حولها من أقطار افريقية ووضع التصورات والخطط الكفيلة بمنع وصول هذه الآفات لأراضي الوطن ومكافحتها في حال وصولها فعلاً.


• 7) تأسيس بنك للمعلومات ومكتبة الكترونية مرتبطة مع مصادر المعلومات العالمية بهدف تقديم الدعم ألمعلوماتي للباحثين المحليين في شتى مجالات المعرفة وخاصةً العلوم المرتبطة بوقاية النبات.


• 8) التعاون والارتباط مع الجهات الدولية ذات العلاقة بعلوم وقاية النبات خاصةً الجمعيات العلمية والمنظمات الدولية وتمثيل ليبيا في المؤتمرات والندوات العلمية والاجتماعات المختصة بعلوم وقاية النبات

• 9) إصدار الشهادات اللازمة للمؤسسات والأفراد فيما يختص بمزاولة المهن المرتبطة بوقاية النبات.


• 10) الفصل في النزاعات العلمية التي قد تنشب بين الباحثين في مجال وقاية النبات عن طريق لجنة من أعضاء الجمعية ذوي الاختصاص تشكل لهذا الغرض

Libyan Society for Plant Protection science

Is a scientific and cultural gathering of specialists and interested in the science of plant protection and its applications, from Libyans, residents and collaborators, and this gathering is not intended for material profit as much as it seeks to achieve its objectives documented in the system of the Basic Assembly and approved by the National Commission for Scientific Research The aim of the association is to provide a meeting point for researchers, experts and specialists in the field of plant protection in Libya, in order to organize the scientific work and create a climate suitable for the brilliance and creativity and raise the efficiency of services provided by the plant protection departments in the agricultural production sector to ensure food security and self-reliance through the implementation of tasks next: -

• 1) Organizing symposia and specialized conferences in the branches of plant protection and attracting experts and international specialists to participate in them in order to transfer and localize modern technology in the fields of specialization.


• 2) Holding training programs and training courses in the field of plant protection and the conservation of agricultural products on a regular basis and on demand, using local experts or using international experts in the absence of a local alternative.


• 3) Issuing a scientific journal in the name of the society, issued in Arabic or English, in order to ensure that the scientific production of the Libyan researchers reaches the bodies capable of benefiting from it at home and abroad. The magazine can also accept research from abroad, especially from well-known researchers in the field of plant protection.


• 4) Cooperation with official and civil institutions concerned with agricultural production issues in order to organize the extension campaigns in order to educate farmers and those responsible for marketing about the economic and health aspects associated with the means used in the field of plant protection, especially chemical pesticides.


• 5) Issuing scientific guidance bulletins in the fields of plant protection and translation of global publications in order to facilitate information for those who request it from institutions and individuals


• 6) To carry out, directly or through cooperation with others, field surveys and studies and to collect the necessary data on the pests scattered in and around Libya from African countries and to develop visions and plans to prevent the access of these pests to the territory of the country and combat them if they actually arrive.


• 7) Establish an information bank and an electronic library linked to global information sources in order to provide information support to local researchers in various fields of knowledge, especially those related to plant protection.


• 8) Cooperation and liaison with international bodies related to plant protection, especially scientific societies and international organizations and representation of Libya in scientific conferences, seminars and meetings related to plant protection


• 9) Issuing the necessary certificates for institutions and individuals in practicing the professions related to plant protection


• 10) Resolving the scientific disputes that may arise between researchers in the field of plant protection through a committee of the members of the association who are specialized for this purpose.
